The official App of the European Association of the Via Francigena, the Cultural Itinerary of the European Council, facilitates route navigation for walkers and cyclists. Through its interactive map using GPS technology, users can easily track their position along the route even offline, thus avoiding roaming charges. The app features an alert system that notifies users if they stray off course and allows for reporting of issues along the itinerary by sharing GPS coordinates.

Additionally, accommodation options along the Way are conveniently pinpointed on the map, offering users the ability to contact them directly from their smartphones. The development of this app was made possible through the collaboration of the regions through which the Via Francigena passes.
